Rochechouart Impactite Pendant – Meteorite, Tektite & Libyan Desert Glass Inlay

This one-of-a-kind pendant is carved from genuine impactite recovered from the ancient Rochechouart meteorite impact structure in France. Formed when a meteorite struck Earth approximately 200 million years ago, Rochechouart impactite is a remarkable geological material created through the immense pressures and temperatures generated during the impact event.

The pendant has been shaped and polished by hand while retaining a natural raw edge along its base, preserving part of the stone’s original character and providing a visual reminder of the powerful forces that created it.

Set into the front of the pendant is a central inlay featuring three impact-related materials: Libyan Desert Glass, Indonesian tektite, and Tibetan tektite. Each was formed through extraordinary natural events involving intense heat, transformation, and the interaction of Earth with forces beyond its atmosphere.

The reverse of the pendant features a circular crater-inspired inlay containing a fragment of Campo del Cielo meteorite. This design serves as a symbolic impact crater, linking the meteorite itself to the impactite and tektites displayed on the front. Together, these materials tell a story spanning millions of years and multiple impact events across different regions of the world.

The pendant is suspended from an adjustable waxed polyester braided cord, allowing it to be worn comfortably at a variety of lengths.

From a geological perspective, this piece brings together materials associated with meteorite impacts, impact glass formation, and extraterrestrial matter. For collectors, it represents a wearable study of planetary processes and deep time.

Within crystal and spiritual traditions, impactites, tektites, meteorites, and Libyan Desert Glass are often associated with transformation, personal evolution, expanded perspective, and connection to the wider cosmos. Many practitioners value these materials for their symbolic relationship to change, resilience, and the meeting of celestial and terrestrial forces.

Features:
• Genuine Rochechouart impactite from France
• Hand carved and polished pendant
• Natural raw edge retained along the base
• Front inlay of Libyan Desert Glass, Indonesian tektite, and Tibetan tektite
• Reverse crater-style inlay containing Campo del Cielo meteorite
• Adjustable waxed polyester braided cord
• One-of-a-kind handmade piece
• Suitable for collectors, geology enthusiasts, meteorite collectors, and spiritual practitioners

Please Note:
This piece contains a genuine exposed fragment of Campo del Cielo meteorite. Like many iron-bearing historical and geological materials, the surface may naturally darken or develop a patina over time. This gradual change is part of the character of the material and reflects its ongoing interaction with the environment. A protective wax coating has been applied to help preserve the meteorite while still allowing the natural metal to remain visible and touchable.

Please note: This is a unique handmade piece created from natural materials. Variations, inclusions, textures, and surface features are part of the character of the specimen and reflect the natural processes that formed it.

Chew
Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone
My dog loves this little chewy bone and it’s good for her teeth. That was very cheap on a sale. It’s worth giving it a try highly recommend it.

Chicken Flavor Good, But 🔄 Rotation-Resistant✖; Best for Simpler Chewers
Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone, Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone
🐾 Hi, I’m PVD; plush sophisticate, chew critic, and active curator of rotational toy relevance. This ring bone and I never fully bonded. I sampled it maybe five times in my entire puppyhood before quietly returning it to the bin (with a single judgmental glance). Still, it does have value for the right pup. ⭐ Why I originally wanted to love it: ✔️ XS size works well for very young puppies ✔️ Chicken flavor lasts impressively long ✔️ Freezing offers temporary gum relief ✔️ Durable and safe; no odd odors or shredding 🌀 Why it’s now a respectful 3-star chew in my rotation: ✘ Never became a go-to toy (5 uses max in my life) ✘ Ring shape felt awkward, not natural or chic; hard to grip and maneuver ✘ Texture too tame vs. nubs or detailed chew surfaces ✘ When I was smaller, I much preferred the Nylabone Baby Blue Bone Chew Toy with nubs (my personal classic), and have since matured into nightly Nylabone “Nubz” edible bones This Ring Bone is Best For: • Very young puppies with minimal chew preferences • Dogs who like simple textures and circular shapes • Those just starting enrichment chew play • Freezer treat rotations (briefly) 🚫 Not ideal for: picky pups, advanced chewers, or dogs who analyze toy ergonomics (like myself). 📝 Final Re-Barks: A strong, well-made chew, but lacked the intrigue to make my permanent rotation. Works for basic chew enjoyment; not for pups with elevated taste or toy ambition. — PVD (Chew Strategist, Textural Analyst & Aspire-to-Vine Reviewer 🐶💼)

Puppy loves it!
Size: X-Large, Color: Teething Bone, Size: X-Large, Color: Teething Bone
My small puppy loves this bone! I originally purchased this for a larger dog, but my small 10 pound puppy loves it more. It’s good quality and a softer material for puppies!

A hit, but could be stronger
Size: Medium, Color: Ring Bone, Size: Medium, Color: Ring Bone
Gave this to my 11 week old pittie, and she did significant damage within 15 mins. She left a pile of chewed bits on the couch but thankfully didn't eat them. Definitely don't leave unsupervised. That said, she LOVED it and it seemed to help her teething gums so, I'm still giving it a 4/5 Puppy pics for tax

FOR SHORT TIME USE
Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone
My puppies love this. After a couple of weeks, it is worn so I throw it out and buy another since it's reasonably priced. I don't want them to actually ingest a chunk of this.
