The AEM 21-836WR Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Subaru WRX STI models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable textured red powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensor. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are 50 state legal. Big Investment for a Lifetime of Quality

Several reviews mentioned a smell lingering with the sheepskin even after being unpacked a few days. I did notice the smell when I unpacked it, but I would expect a slight odor from such an item. It was not overpowering and is completely gone after one month of having it laid out on a chest in our bedroom. It is very functional, can be sat on, knelt on, etc, but is easily brushed off and looks great! The quality is very good…someone in my family is on it every night, and we have experienced no shedding whatsoever.
Although the price is a big investment initially, I believe the quality is worthy. We plan to enjoy this beautiful sheepskin for a lifetime!

Really soft & my dog loves it. I used it as a throw over my couch for decor. The smell when I took it out of the package was probably one of the worst smells I’ve ever smelled. Like old broccoli or something. I left it outside to air out all day and that was gone.

Not premium quality! I've seen actual authentic ones before.

Despite all the positive reviews, I believe this product is subpar. There are genuine sheep skin Hydes but this product is NOT it. There is no leather embossing showing authenticity, and many signs of strong chemical treatment. Smell is lingering and I've aired them for over two days. Not very comfortable since the fur is very thick and coarse, you would expect it to be softer for the price as well. Not premium quality. I ordered this for my children to sleep on at long evening Church services but now I will look to more niche sellers for a higher quality product.
