LP version. Includes CD. The self-titled debut album from Starless is the lushly orchestrated brainchild of Paul McGeechan, keyboard player of Love & Money from Glasgow. It's an epic and unique album, widescreen in scope and ambition, featuring such illustrious collaborators as Paul Buchanan (The Blue Nile), Karen Matheson (Capercaillie), Julie Fowlis and Chris Thomson (The Bathers). McGeechan, who wrote, arranged and masterminded the project, recorded the album with the stunning Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. The result is an emotional soundscape with references ranging from Ennio Morricone to The Cocteau Twins and David Sylvian. "Fuadach" provides the opening titles to this very special cinematic musical journey. It is followed by the late-night beauty of title track "Starless", sung by Paul Buchanan (Buchanan's first vocal for quite some time): "In a starless sky, one shutdown moon, here in this city, we fall in love too soon". "Whispered Reason No. 2" and "Solitude", both sung by Marie Claire Lee, recall the other-worldly beauty of Liz Fraser of The Cocteau Twins. Another great collaborator on Starless is Karen Matheson. Her beautiful voice is featured on the celestial "The Surge Of The Sea" which is sung in Gaelic. Scottish folk singer Julie Fowlis provides vocals on the second Gaelic language song on the album, the ethereal "Duthaich Mhicaoidh". Chris Thomson sings the gorgeous "Misty Nights": "Sure as east meets west, she's in her summer dress, young musicians on their knees". McGeechan and Thomson were both members of legendary post-Postcard band Friends Again in the early '80s. "Within These Walls", sung by Andrew White, recalls the melancholy art-pop of early '80s Peter Gabriel. The atmospheric "Yellow Midnight" is sung by Gwen Stewart who has recorded with Sugartown. Turn the lights down low, turn up the volume and get on a trip with this very special and, yes, quite spectacular album. It's a beauty.

The best toothbrush, and I've tried them all!

I have a little 4 year old Maltese and Shih Tzu mix. She has very tiny teeth that are already starting to show signs of dental disease. I know it's important that they get brushed because small breed dogs are more prone to dental and gum problems. But I've tried every little toothbrush out there and it's a battle trying to brush her teeth. And unfortunately she usually wins! This brush is the best. It is soft and round and she completely tolerates it. I put a little doggie toothpaste on it, which she likes the taste of, and I'm finally able to at least move the brush and paste around her gum line. She still fights me a bit, but nothing like she used to. I would highly suggest that you give this toothbrush a try.

Flimsy and snapped easily

Snapped in literally under a minute of using it. The toothbrush head is so small and the handle is really thin and flimsy even though it’s advertised for large dogs… I’m so disappointed.

does the job

Its does the job of cleaning my dachshunds teeth. The only issue is that the SMALL and MEDIUM are the same size. Small was okay but wanted something that would cover more area. Picked up the Medium and they are basicly if not the same size....

It’s an okay toothbrush
Style: Big Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I thought this design was very unique and a great idea when I bought the toothbrush. The handle is sort of harder to hold on to. I like how the toothbrush bristles are very soft and it is flat on the end to prevent back of the mouth injuries.
