Double LP version. Includes download code. Following up to three albums on Kompakt since 2011, the latest being Signs Under Test in 2015 (KOMP 119CD/KOM 321LP), Los Angeles based house and techno producer John Tejada returns to the Cologne-based imprint with his thirteenth full-length, Dead Start Program - an eleven-track journey spanning a prismatic array of styles and patterns, from John's signature soulful techno tunes to the further mazy, hypnotic motifs of his trancey electro hybrids. Be it solo or through a host of multifaceted collaborations, Tejada keeps himself busy on all fronts in and off the club environment, be it by contributing the 44th number in Fabric's seminal mix series (FABRIC 087CD, 2001), playing drums for Detroit legend Daniel Bell (as DBX), testing the limits of acid with Tin Man or joining forces with the hilarious self-proclaimed "disinformationist" Reggie Watts as Wajatta. Since his beginnings and the drop of his debut 12", Waxing, released through his own label Palette Recordings in 1996, John has been carving out a lane of his own - combining and assembling elements from all ends of his wide-spanning spectrum of reference in a way that allows a more direct transition from the realm of the mind to the circuits of the machine, as confirmed by the deliberately limited studio setup used in the making of the present album. Navigating across the lines, from the arrhythmic machine spook of the album's opener "Autoseek" via the straight-out thumping and jacking pulse of "Hypochondriac" and heavy-lidded breakbeat of "Sleep Spindle" onto the kosmische-infused vibrations of "Telemetry", vibrant slo-mo inertia of "Loss" and wistful club-ready winds of "Duty Cycle" and "Heal", John threads his way through genres and tempos with optimal chameleonic effect. Cloaked in a beautiful sleeve art courtesy of John's long-time friend Juan Mendez, aka Silent Servant - another key contributor to the Los Angeles scene worldwide, based upon a picture by Mark Richards, Dead Start Program draws it's title from the analog start up program used to boot an old CDC 6600 computer from a dead start and which metaphorically invites in John's own words to figure a "reboot from the challenges life throws at you".

Perfect latex pillow
Size: Queen Size
I’ve been using the pillow for about a week, and I’m really happy with it so far. It’s soft and bouncy but still gives enough support for my neck, which is hard to find in a pillow. When I first received it, there was a slight odor from the new materials, but it went away after about two days, so it wasn’t a big deal at all. What I noticed right away is how it kind of molds to your head and neck without feeling too firm. It’s definitely more supportive than regular foam or down pillows, but it’s not stiff at all. I also like that it stays cool throughout the night—I never wake up feeling overheated. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a pillow that’s soft but not too soft, with enough support to keep your neck comfortable. Definitely worth trying if you’re picky about pillows like I am.

Our favorite pillows & we're picky!
Size: Queen Size
My whole family love these pillows, & we are picky pillow people! They are comfortable through the whole night & I get the best nights sleep. We even put them in our AirBnB house & guests ask where they can buy one. I highly recommend. They are soft on your head but still supportive.

Excellent pillow
Size: Queen Size
I have now been using this pillow for 6 months and I’m very pleased with my purchase. It’s all one piece, not shredded material that shifts. Stays exactly the same shape. Bouncy & not too thick or thin. Stays cool. I don’t plan on ever using any other kind. I sleep so well and no neck pain.

The PERFECT Pillow!
Size: Queen Size
As I grow older, I was waking up with a sore neck. I tried a variety of pillows including feather, fiberfill and memory foam, but Latex was the best by far. Now to find the perfect Latex pillow... First I tried Dunlop Latex but found it too firm. Then I tried 2 different Tatalay Latex. One was soft until my head sunk down, then it became too firm. The second one, this one, was PERFECT. Soft but not too soft, and my head never bottoms out. Feels like my head is floating on air. And no rubber odor. There is a slight scent initially but it isn't unpleasant. I've been sleeping on this pillow for 10 days now and have never slept better. I don't find that it's any warmer than any other pillow. The pillow comes with a nice soft stretchy cotton cover. (I purchased a spare pillow for the future).

Very Nice for Back Sleeping but Not the Side
Size: Queen Size
For laying on the back, this pillow is dreamy. Some support, but also very soft.Side sleeping feels different. It's like my face being on a balloon, held there, without much ability to move.
