From the celebrated author of Blankets and Habibi comes a new graphic memoir exploring the class divide, childhood labor, family, and our globalized world—all centered on Wisconsin's ginseng farming industry “A sweeping story, gorgeously drawn and beautifully told — this is Craig Thompson’s masterpiece.” —Joe Sacco, author of Palestine and Paying the LandWhen Blankets first published in 2003, Craig Thompson's seminal memoir about first love and faith lost in rural Wisconsin debuted to rapturous acclaim. The winner of two Eisner and three Harvey Awards, it is to this day considered one of the all-time great works of graphic storytelling. Now, in Craig's long-awaited return to the autobiographical form, comes the story that Blankets left out.Ginseng Roots follows Craig and his siblings, who spent the summers of their youth weeding and harvesting rows of coveted American ginseng on rural Wisconsin farms for one dollar an hour. In his trademark breathtaking pen-and-ink work, Craig interweaves this lost youth with the 300-year-old history of the global ginseng trade and the many lives it has tied together—from ginseng hunters in ancient China, to industrial farmers and migrant harvesters in the American Midwest, to his own family still grappling with the aftershocks of the bitter past. Stretching from Marathon, Wisconsin, to Northeast China, Ginseng Roots charts the rise of industrial agriculture, the decline of American labor, and the search for a sense of home in a rapidly changing world.Shipping Notes

Bigger than expected...
Color: A3 Purple and Black, Color: A3 Purple and Black
I needed a new purse because the one I have currently (that I have that for about 4 years) is falling apart on me, and I wanted a sturdier one. I ordered this one after much thinking and I paid for fast shipping to get it today! I came home from work and was excited to open it... They gave a different color than I ordered, I placed my order for purple and black, and I received gray and black (which I am not too mad about because I like those color combos too) it looked smaller in the photos, but to my discovery it's actually pretty big... The purse is in good condition, but the dangly piece will NOT turn the right way, which kind of erks me. I do like that it comes with a matching wallet though. I think I will try it for a while and see if I like it, even though it seems really bulky. I may return it because I feel deceieved. At least the purse smells good and it's good quality so far. I will come back with an update.
**UPDATE**
I really tried to use it, it was sturdy and held everything I needed. I think this purse would be for those who like bulky bags. It just wasn't for me. Held up throughout the time I was using it, but with this purse I wouls consider it to each their own. I use the wallet though 😉

Genuine leather upper and well made
Size: 10, Color: Sunlight
These shoes are well made and I love the way they look. They look great with jeans or dresses. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the brand. These are a size 10 and fit. Hopefully after a breaking in period the opening at the toes will loosen up. Also, when walking they make a slap slap sound. Again, hoping after they break in that won't be the case. I got a great deal and poof a couple of days later there was a slightly better deal.
I wasn't sure I'd like the color but it's actually really nice. The upper is genuine leather and they are well made.

Beautiful shoe
Size: 7, Color: Smoke Grey
This shoe is fairly narrow, which works fine for my narrow feet. Comfortable. Light. Nice color will match with lots of colors. Fairly comfortable but the skinny part by the toe I see how this would give anyone with a medium side foot blisters. It’s fine on me.
