Made from an underwing panel still showing some remnants of the German Cross, the panel was dIscovered near Kursk, Russia in the early 2000s. With its discovery in that region, we can reasonably assume that it participated in the Battle of Kursk, and that it most likely was a G Model with 37 mm canons.
